Local election survey – summary of results

Thank you to everyone who took part in the LLA survey on local elections last week. LLA have put together a short blog on the results and you can read it HERE

There was an excellent response to the local election survey – nearly 1,500 members have taken part, and there are some interesting headlines:

81% of respondents have noticed a decline in their local services
Respondents were divided as to whether they would pay more council tax for better services: 50% said they would pay more, while 49% said they would not.
Of the issues which older people were most concerned about, social care ranked highest, followed by maintaining local roads and then waste collection and disposal.

Thank you again, your continued support is valued by us and LLA.
