Caroline Doyle
Membership & EC Support Manager
I began working for the NFOP as a Junior Secretary back in 1990, just after leaving college. At that time Head Office was in Alma Street, Luton. During my 32 years, I have worked in a variety of roles and seen lots of changes. I am now the Membership & EC Support Manager, dealing with database updates and supporting our Executive Committee. I really enjoy the daily interaction with our branches and members; every day is different.

I have a very close family and enjoy spending quality time with them and love being a Nanny to my beautiful Grandson.

Communications Assistant
I started working for NFOP in 2008 when my main roles included Branch notes and membership. Since then, I have had the opportunity to develop my skills and now work as Communications Assistant which amongst other things involves working on the NFOP website and Membership database.

It is a real pleasure being part of such a friendly close-knit team at headquarters and I enjoy engaging with NFOP members on a daily basis.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going on long walks at the weekends, especially when the weather is nice.

Assistant Communications & Events Manager
I began working for the NFOP in 2014 as an Administrative Assistant, responsible for processing member payments and data input. After the restructure in 2018, I became Assistant to the Communications & Events Manager, responsible for organising and implementing the NFOP Annual Conference and the design, publication and management of key documents including the Annual Report & Conference Brochure.

I assist with the production of the NFOP Magazine, managing contributor deadlines and proofreading, as well as the creation of the digital eNewsletter, which I really enjoy.

I like being part of a small, friendly team and communicating with our members.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, going to the gym, and paddle boarding with my cockapoo Benji.

Operations & Finance Manager
I joined our organisation in November 1992, known then as The National Federation of Royal Mail and BT Pensioners, as an Office Junior. Responsible for a variety of clerical duties, I also undertook secretarial training. The Finance Officer retired in 1999 and I was offered the opportunity to train for this role, a career move which I very much enjoyed. After a couple of breaks to have children (if you can call having children a ‘break’), I returned as part-time Finance Officer for the next 17 years.

Head Office restructured in November 2018 and I moved to the full-time role of Operations and Finance Manager, responsible for the smooth running of Head Office and managing NFOP finances.
Paula Fox
Paula Fox
Finance Administrator
I started working for NFOP in July 2001 as a part-time Finance Officer working 2.5 days a week. My main role is to maintain, process, and reconcile the NFOP and Welfare Fund financial records. Since a restructure in 2018 my title altered to Finance Administrator, working 3 days a week.

I enjoy working at NFOP HQ within a small, dedicated team who are all working towards the same goal - to help and support our members on a day-to-day basis.

In my spare time, I enjoy meeting up with family and friends, keeping fit, walking and gardening.
Eamonn Donaghy
Eamonn Donaghy
Chief Executive
I joined NFOP in January 2020 having previously held the post of CEO of Age Sector Platform in Northern Ireland. My early career was spent in financial services before moving into the ‘third sector’ where I have spent the last twenty odd years.

I enjoy all aspects of my role here at NFOP particularly engagement with Members.

Away from NFOP I am an avid reader and sports fan. My one luxury in life is my Sky Sports Subscription. I enjoy most sports, particularly football, tennis, cricket and rugby. I never had the ‘build’ to play the last of these, but actively played the first three with, it must be said, very moderate levels of success before retiring gracefully when joints and muscles began to protest too much.

Communications & Events Manager
My career in communication, marketing and event management began over 25 years ago in the airline industry before moving into the membership organisation sector 7 years ago and joining the NFOP in January 2022.

During the week you can find me at NFOP Head Office overseeing the production of the NFOP magazine, the website, E>Newsletter and all things digital as well as advertising, publicity, and the Annual Conference.

Outside of work, I enjoy precious family time, tennis, golf, cold water swimming and ‘entertaining’ our neighbours on the drums!
